We had a great time on Mackinac Island this year, despite the wind. It was very windy the day we decided to go to the Island. Sam really enjoyed the catamaran ride. He also liked all of the horses, and even made friends with "Jerry" (the horse that pulled our carriage). We weren't sure if Tom (the other horse that pulled our carriage) was very kid friendly, so Sam only had his picture taken with Jerry. He had a great day, despite having no nap. I thought for sure he would fall asleep on the carriage ride, or the boat ride back to St. Ignace, but he was such a trooper. Sam is petting Jerry in the first picture, and he is on the boat in the second picture.
