Mia's Turn

Sammy will soon be sharing this space with his little sister, so I thought I might start a little bit early. Pretty soon, this blog will have a new name. I'm still working on that part though. Anyways, at the end of September, Sam and Jake went for a visit to CT for Grandpa Horton's birthday party. While they were away, I had a very small, very informal "shower" or "diaper party." There were about 10 people that came, and we had it at our house. Some of my closest friends came and a few family members were there as well. Here are a few photos from that day. Not the best shot of me, but this little outfit is so cute because it is so sassy. The shirt says, "Mommy is the Queen, I am the Princess, and Daddy is Very Lucky."

I had to post this outfit because it was one of the favorites of all the shower guests. It is from my fashionista friend Laura who lives in NYC. It is a little dress and bloomer set. SO adorable.
This is a cute outfit that my friend Laura gave me. It says, "I love Kisses." She better-because she's going to get a lot of them.
My very talented friend Danielle makes scrapbooks/photo albums for everyone that she knows that has a baby..or maybe not EVERYONE, but I have seen quite a few of them at baby showers in the past, and have been coveting one of these books for a while now. They are so very well put together. Each page has an insert for a photo, a place to put the month/date, and a place to add some comments about the photo. I swear she could make a fortune on these if she wanted.
