We went to a new pumpkin patch this year. We decided to try one that is close to home. It's called Stoney Creek Farms. It was hard to coordinate a date to go this year, but it ended up being the perfect day. We went on a Tuesday afternoon, and the weather was great. There was a very small crowd, and we even had the hayride to the pumpkin patch all to ourselves. The farm has a small "fall festival" area where you can purchase tickets for various activities. Sam could do almost everything. He rode the "pumpkin train," and went in to a jumpy balloon haunted house (with Daddy of course). Daddy and Sam climbed up on top of a giant hill of hay, and we were able to see some farm animals. Oh-and we did end up leaving with a couple of pumpkins, too.
