We waited until Halloween Day to carve our pumpkins. I know-talk about last minute. It was nice though. There was a lot going on around the house-painting contractors, and heating and cooling contractors were both doing work, so this was a nice way to distract Sam from getting in their way. Sam and I carved a "scary" faced pumpkin, and Daddy made a Thomas the Tank Engine pumpkin. I was pretty impressed with how long the pumpkin carving held Sam's attention.
